Training at Front Sight Doesn't Stop at Rifle Training
Rifle training is a subject that many shooting schools won't touch too much. Many shooting schools, especially N.R.A.-sponsored firearms training schools think that the only thing a gun training school should focus on is hunting. According to the N.R.A. and their associates, the right to own guns is important, but they'll only stand up for those guns which are hunting guns.
Dr. Ignatius Piazza thinks this is a cowardly view and won't have it. Dr. Ignatius Piazza is the founder and director of Front Sight Firearms Training Institute, currently America's largest firearms training school. Every year, Front Sight trains more students than all other shooting schools combined. Dr. Piazza is of the opinion that the right to bear arms is not dependant upon hunting. The constitutional right to own and have guns is in order to form a militia, should the need ever present itself.
Dr. Piazza is not calling for a militia to be formed, or for armed rebellion. He is, however, adamant about the fact that firearms should be owned by every single law-abiding citizen in the nation, and every gun owner should receive firearms training. If every gun owner got gun training, we would have a safe nation, never would we have to fear about guns or gun deaths or violent crime.
Imagine a place where every citizen is armed and trained in the use of the weapon. Who would attack such a person? Only a person interested in losing! A criminal feeds on the weak, so when we get strong, they have no one to feed off of. Front Sight is intent upon delivering firearms training to everyone. Handgun training, shotgun training and rifle training, it's all part of what ever law-abiding American must know.
